A little brief …
The interface in the main workspace of Adobe Flash is different from the Macromedia Flash. Howeveit is still remaining the basic tools such as stage, timeline, important panels and library.
an important term we need to understand is about BITMAP image and VECTOR image ..
both of them have huge diferences…
TRY THIS
1.Google image that have extension .bmp (example cat.bmp)
2.Try open your Adobe Flash program –> File –> Import –> browse the image you had import
3.Once the image place on stage… use zoom tool and zoom in the image .. you will see the pixellate ..
Next
4. Try to draw shape using rectanggle tool the zoom in and you will see the differences
Flash WORK FLOW
Main Files Types
Basically the main project file was save as .fla file .The flash file can be publish as flash movie file or html file which can be deploy in website.

Assalamualaikum and Hello!
There is some notes from: http://www.adobe.com
Motion tweens are a very common way to create movement with Flash because Flash does most of the work, making things easy for you. Motion tweens can also help minimize file size, particularly over frame-by-frame animation, since you have fewer assets in your documents.
With motion tweening you create the motion tween and then define properties such as position, size, and rotation for an instance or text block at one point in time, and then you change those properties at another point in time. When you do this, Flash automatically creates the gradual change between the first and second point in time. You can also apply a motion tween that follows a motion path.
Have fun with the tutorials =)

Assalamualaikum and Hello!
Today we will go through about TEXT in Flash ^^
In Flash there are three types of text box:
Static
This is the most simple of the text boxes; you can’t change its text on the run.
Dynamic
This text box allows you to change almost anything you could change while editing you flash movie.
Input
The same thing as the dynamic text, but this one accepts user input.
You can change your text to one of these types right after drawing a text box on the stage.

Let’s create a simple movie to demonstrate their differences.
Draw a new Static text box, and write “Name:” on it.

Draw an Input text box next to the previous text. Give an instance name of “iText” and set the “var” to “_root.name”.
“_root.name” is going to be the variable that holds the contents of this text box.
If the user types something on the Input box, the variable “_root.name” will have that same text.
Finally draw a dynamic box with these properties:

Open the actions for the first frame and paste:
This is the result:

INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this exercise is to gain a basic understanding of how to use the drawing tools in Flash MX 2004. Before proceeding, I need to define a few terms. You’ll find it much easier to understand how Flash draws if you are familiar with what Flash draws.
The drawing tools in Flash create something called vector artwork. A vector graphic is best described as a graphic made from straight or curved lines with crisp edges. A benefit to using vectors is that you can scale the illustrations you create without harming the quality of the illustration. For example, say you’re designing a logo for a client, and the client wants to see their logo on a key chain as well as on a billboard. If the logo is done using vector artwork, you can potentially scale the artwork to any size and still not lose the integrity of your original illustration.
In contrast to vector art there is something called bitmap artwork. (the words bitmap and raster are synonymous. Raster is based on a German word meaning to screen. Raster and bitmap images are made up of pixels). A very important difference between bitmap artwork and vector artwork is that bitmap is not resolution-independent. If you were to enlarge a bitmap image with a resolution of 300 dots per inch (dpi), the quality would deteriorate, most likely leaving the image unacceptable.
Below is a picture showing enlargements of a vector image and a bitmap image. Please note the difference between the two. The vector (shown on the left) is much smoother and more precise than the bitmap (shown on the right). The enlarged bitmap image is pixilated.

Figure 1. Vector vs. bitmap artwork
You can use the Flash drawing tools to draw vector artwork in Flash. But first you’ll need to find them.
If you can’t see the Tools panel, look at the menu items along the top of your monitor. Select Window > Tools. The Tools Palette appears.
Figure 2. Opening the Tools panel
In this tutorial, you’ll focus on five of the tools in the Tools panel (see Figure 2) and the Fill and Stroke Color controls. The five tools we’ll cover are as follows:
I’ll also briefly cover the Free Transform tool. You’ll create a basic illustration using these tools.
Ready to begin? Good! pssst! there also a cool tutorials to be done! heeee ^_^
